Microblading & Ombre Shading

  • Microblading is a technique used to make subtle enhancements on a person’s eyebrows - this helps to create fuller, more beautiful brows. A handheld pen consisting of multiple micro-blades is used to make fine, short incisions on the skin to mimic the appearance of natural hair. It looks most natural on clients who already have a semi full brow of hair and are wanting to perfect their shape. The more hair you have, the more natural it will appear. Microblading heals best on young, healthy, and dry/normal skin types. Oily and aging/thin skin is not recommended for microblading. If you are in this category, you would be a better candidate for the combination or ombre brow.

Ombré shading or Powder brows are another form of permanent makeup for eyebrows, a process of infusing pigment into the skin to simulate the appearance of filled in brows or makeup. A handheld machine with a single needle is used to implant pigments into the skin. This technique is beautiful on ALL skin types.

Combination brows are a mixture of both techniques, using microblading at the head of the brow and shading throughout the tail.

Item description

  • Permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing is designed to fade over time. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications, and pigment color all affect the longevity of the tattoo. Direct sunlight and tanning beds can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down as well. To take care of your brows, follow the aftercare instructions and touch-up your brows as needed approximately every 1.5-2 years after initial service. Touch-ups are normal and expected for Permanent Cosmetics.

*Please note that final results vary and CANNOT be guaranteed due to the nature of the skin as it heals

  • Currently, I am only accepting virgin brow clients with no previous work. If you think your previous work has faded enough to be considered a client, please email a picture of your brows for further discussion.

  • Topical 5% Lidocaine is used to make you comfortable throughout your procedure. However, pain tolerance varies from client to client. Having the procedure during your menstrual cycle may increase your sensitivity.

What is body Sugaring?

Sugaring is one of the oldest, most gentle, and eco friendly forms of hair removal. Using just sugar, lemon, and water to create a honey-like consistency, this sugar paste is applied in the opposite direction of wax and then flicked off in the direction of hair growth! No strips or popsicle sticks needed! We like sugar over wax because it’s perfect for sensitive skin (no resins or harsh chemicals) meaning it won’t cure onto your live-skin cells or top layer of skin. Sugar only removes dead skin cells and hair!

How long does it last?

Results typically last 3-5 weeks depending on the area and the rate your hair grows. Everyone grows differently! Similar to plucking your brow hair, over time sugaring can lead to damage of the hair follicles. This causes less blood supply to the follicle resulting in your hair getting smaller, thinner, finer, and sparser over time. We recommend booking your sugar appointments on a consistent schedule (every 4-6) weeks to ensure the BEST results and the most comfortable experience possible.

What’s the difference?

Not sure which to book? No problem! This service is customized to your personal preference and can be discussed during appointment.
